In Japanese Culture there is a symbol called “Enso”.
It symbolizes absolute enlightenment, strength, elegance, the universe, and the void. The circle may be open or closed and in our case the circle is open. This symbolizes movement and development towards perfection and in the practice of Zen, gives the idea of the beauty of imperfection.
